On Level 2 of Aquaria KLCC, here comes the Freshwater Journey section. The Freshwater Journey section houses one of the main attractions of Aquaria KLCC, which is the tall cylindrical glass aquarium with a giant tree trunk in the center. Freshwater fishes swim around the tree trunk in the cylindrical glass aquarium. The view is magnificent.
Walking down the stairs, you will find the world’s largest freshwater fish, the Arapaima. The Arapaima is native to the Amazon and Essequibo basins of South America. They can grow to reach as much as 3 m (9.8 ft) in length. Arapaima feeding session is one of the best show in Aquaria KLCC, make sure you check it out.
